Welcome to Sunshine Foundation

The Sunshine Foundation focuses on the empowerment of women and girls in Guyana who live in deprived, under-served and under-resourced communities and whose basic survival is a daily struggle. These women and girls have experienced child sexual exploitation (CSE), gender based violence, exposed to early pregnancies and violation of their human rights.

SERVICE PILLARS

The Foundation sees the empowerment of women and girls as a priority, thereby developing its’ action with a view to lifelong education, focusing its’ services on programs and projects that promote openings for women and girls who are vulnerable and marginalized, such as  –
